Where Generations of Women Connect
Bridging the generational gap among women through storytelling, mentorship, and community connection. We create inclusive spaces—online and offline—where women of all ages can share experiences, find belonging, and learn from one another.

Who We Are
You know that feeling when you're surrounded by people but still feel alone? When you scroll through hundreds of contacts but can't think of who to call? When you're carrying something heavy, and there's no one to set it down with?
You're not imagining it. And you're not alone in feeling alone.
Our Common Threads exists because something broke. The ways women used to gather around kitchen tables, on front porches, in community spaces have largely disappeared. We're busier than ever but lonelier than we've ever been. And it's not just affecting one generation. It's all of us.
Younger women are navigating life without a map, hungry for perspectives they can't Google. Older women are sitting on decades of hard-won wisdom with no one asking for it. And women in the middle? We’re holding everything together while quietly coming apart, carrying aging parents, raising children, building careers, maintaining households, often without anyone noticing the weight or being able to connect with.
We're building something different.
Through storytelling circles, skilling, intergenerational gatherings, and shared conversation, we’re creating spaces for women to actually connect. Not perform. Not fix each other. Not pretend we have it all figured out. Just sit together, share honestly, and discover we're not as alone as we thought.
Because here's what we've learned: Every woman has something to teach. Every woman has something she's still learning. And when we bring those truths into the same room across age, race, and experience…something powerful happens.
This is about belonging.
It's about hearing your own story in someone else's words. About realizing that the thing you thought made you broken is actually what makes you human. About discovering that wisdom isn't just found in the oldest woman in the room, it’s in all of us, waiting to be shared.
We’re not here to fix loneliness; we’re here to create the kind of spaces where it quietly fades. One story at a time. One circle at a time. One thread connecting to another until we've woven something strong enough to hold us all.
Welcome. Your story matters. And there's a place for you here.
About the founder
Hi, I’m Keba. I grew up in a multigenerational home with my mother and grandmother. Two very different women who taught me strength, softness, and the kind of wisdom you only learn by watching the women who raised you live their lives.
Those early years taught me something I've carried into adulthood:
Every woman has something to teach, and every woman has something she's still trying to figure out. But as I got older, I noticed how rare it was for women of different generations to actually sit together.
Younger women looking for guidance. Older women with decades of wisdom but no space to offer it. Women in the middle are trying to hold everything and everyone. We're all living full, complicated, beautiful stories, just not always sharing them.
That's why I created Our Common Threads.
A space where women of all ages and backgrounds can talk, listen, learn, and realize we're more connected than we think.
A space for the story that changed you... and the woman who needs to hear it. This isn't about me. It's about us, our stories, our joy, our becoming. I'm just opening the door. The rest, we weave together.
